Welcome to Life Transitions Center, Inc.Do you know of someone who has a serious illness? Or someone who needs help coping with loss? Life Transitions Center assists anyone touched by serious illness by providing support, education, counseling, wellness activities and social/networking events. The United Way agency and affiliate of The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care has been assisting individuals and families for more than 35 years.
Life Transitions Center's new city campus, located at 1140 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo offers a home-like, peaceful atmosphere for informal gatherings, support groups and activities. An eight-week Zumba class began last month and there is a new and expanded weekly children's program called the Kids Kitchen Club.
The Center's Cheektowaga location, the Mary and Ralph Wilson Jr. Building located at 150 Bennett Road in Cheektowaga, continues to offer six bereavement groups for children, adults and families. Stop by to visit us weekdays or call the Center at (716) 836-6460.
